Piazza Del Duomo (L'Aquila)
The Piazza Del Duomo is the one of the largest Piazzas in Italy it is 140m long and 70m wide. The Piazza Del Duomo is the most recognised Piazza in L'Aquila and is the centre of the city.
The Piazza is where most religious, historic and anythingthing in between takes place. They're many shops around here that people can look at and buy from.
The Piazza is also the social and cultural centre of the city. The Piazza is lined with numerous historical buildings but no palace, so that no one can ever count dominate the space of the citizens.
In the middle ages it hosted the elms justice which was where executions took place.
